The 7th annual conference of SAATM (SOUTH ASIAN ASSOCIATION OF TRANSFUSION MEDICINE) was organized by the Bangladesh chapter of SAATM from 27-28th May 2011 at Bangbandhu Convention centre, Dhaka.
Lmb supported the congress and held a lecture on the topic of the Non Electricity Blood Bank and gave an overview of different ways of blood separation.
Mr. Klaus Jentsch who held this lecture in Dhaka specially placed an emphasis on the separation system for whole blood ErySep, which can be seen as the central solution of the Non Electricity Blood Bank. The audience answered with high interest and detailed discussions for implementation especially in rural areas of the region.
