At the AGTF meeting in Kassel, Lmb specially focused on the presentation of the Temperature Control for Erythrocytes. Life guard quality control indicates if a blood conserve was out of the prescribed temperature range during the transport to and back from the hospital or other destinations and gives a clear information if the certain conserve can be taken back for re-use by the blood bank. In two workshops held by Lmb, participants agreed to the outstanding advantages of Life Guard indicators, which could be a good way to unify all different procedures and processes in German bloodbanks how to deal with this matter of re-use of blood conserves.
With the presentation of the new high-precision sealing device Sealmatic, Lmb attracted enormous attention to its booth and was able to welcome many guests, that admired the perfect sealing joint produced by Sealmatic and easy separation of the tube ends after the sealing.
Many visitors also praised the high stability and long life time of Bagmatic donation monitor. They are looking forward to see and test the new device from this product family Bagmatic NOVO, which is planned to be ready for the market for validation from mid of 2011 on.
