XXI ISBT congress, held from 19.06.2011. to 23.06.2011. in Lisbon, Portugal welcomed more than 2000 visitors from all over the world. Lmb didn’t miss this opportunity to, again, present some new products rise out of the ideas developing over the past year. So, a very much interested audience could see BagmaticNOVO - a new machine from our blood shaker series, with 3D shaking and new design, Sealmatic – a new sealer design showing outstanding precision and speed and Mikromatic – a semi automatic plasma extractor.
Lmb, from its innovative R&D team, has also offered new features on the separation machine, LUXOMatic, such as automatic valve breaker and DDaR (distance diagnosis and repairment), which was presented with the help of Prim. Dr Vesna Libek and her team from The Blood bank department CNC Zemun, Belgrade, Serbia (V.Libek, A. Kulic, A.Strughar, N.Rankovic, I.Simic), offered details on the Lmb separation line with the poster “AUTOMATIC BLOOD PROCESSING – OLD DEVICE WITH NEW FEATURES”.
Dr Ajda Turhan, from Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital Blood Bank, Izmir, Turkey held an oral session called “EVALUATION OF THE USEFULNESS OF ERYTHROCYTE SUSPENSIONS OBTAINED FROM PLACENTAL BLOOD WITH CENTRIFUGATION AND HOLLOW FIBER FILITRATION METHODS FOR THE AUTHOLOGOUS TRANSFUSION OF NEONATALS”.
