Hospitalar 2008, held from June 10th to 13th in São Paulo (Brazil), has closed with a result of around 78,000 professional visits from 70 countries. The 15th edition of the Hospitalar has convened 1,114 exhibiting companies, from 33 countries, giving a good picture of the dynamic market for medical equipment in Latin America.

Lmb was invited to present its whole blood seperation machine Dualpress at Hospitalar 2008 by JMS Concise. We were able to benefit from the large number of visitors at the stand and got the possibility to meet many potential users of Dualpress. A special interest was shown for different blood bag applications and relevant procedures on fully-automated Dualpress. This appearance at Hospitalar was a very interesting and useful insight to the Latin Americal market. Some demonstrations on sight in different blood centers will follow and we will be able to make our first steps in South and Latin America.
